Pinki

Pinki is a young girl, just turning eighteen. She belongs to Bihar but currently lives in Delhi with her parents, two brothers and a sister. Her father is a cleaner and mother is a housewife. Though she was keen on her studies, she had to drop out of school in the ninth standard due to the financial constraints of her family.

Last year Pinki enrolled in the Vocational Training Programme at the Orthopaedic Centre in Janakpuri, and underwent training in beauty culture for 6 months. As soon as completed the course, by dint of her own effort, she landed a job at a beauty parlour in Delhi.

Now Pinki has become financially independent and is also a help to her family. Her employer appreciates her sincerity as well as her hard-working nature.

Pinki dreams of setting up her own beauty parlour in the not-too-distant future. Our best wishes are always with her/
