Kiran

Eighteen-year-old Kiran is a resident of a resettlement colony in Kalyanpuri where she lives with her family comprising her parents, and her younger brother and sister, both of whom are in school. Kiran successfully completed our Beauty Culture course from our Trilokpuri centre in 2020. Her father is the only earner of the family, earning around Rs 10,000/- per month.

Kiran was an excellent student during her training, and was a specialist in mehndi design. She was so good that she started earning while still doing the course. She put up mehndi stalls at festivals and started earning over Rs. 5000/- per month. Currently she is offering these services at homes due to the pandemic, and continues to earn and contributes to the running of their household.  Alongside she is now pursuing her graduation from Delhi University.

Her parents are delighted with her success. Kiran wants to set up her own parlour in future to become independent and self-reliant.
