The following information could help you decide how you would like your contribution to be used:

Sponsorship of Surgery for a Physically Challenged Child

Minor / Routine Surgery Rs 12,500/-(~ USD 280)
Major Surgery Rs 18,000/-(~ USD 400)

Specialized Surgery Rs 24,000/-(~ USD 525)

The sponsorship amounts include the cost of diagnostic investigations, surgery, stay in the ward, pre- and post-operative care, medicines, physiotherapy / occupational therapy and fitment with aids and appliances.

Sponsorship of Rehabilitation of a Special Needs Child Rs 2,000/-  per month(~ USD 45 per month)

This includes the cost of physiotherapy /occupational therapy, special education, speech therapy, health care and medicines, recreational events and outings and special nutrition.

Educational Sponsorship   

Normal ChildRs 4,200/- per year (~ USD 90)

This covers the costs of a monthly stipend as well as counselling and guidance for students, stationery, gifts and incentives, medical check-ups, medicines and an annual celebration.    

Palna

At Palna it costs us about Rs 17,500 per month per child (~USD 385) on the average, taking into account the medical and round-the-clock care that is needed for many of the new arrivals. Any donation that you make towards Palna goes towards the overall care of the Palna children.
