Nisha

Nisha is a young woman who joined our Vocational training Programme in beauty culture in 2016, as a step towards achieving her dream of becoming an independent woman and owning her own salon. She lost her mother just after she had completed her schooling, and lived at home with her father and brothers. While doing the course itself she started working  in a small way from her home to start earning. She eventually topped her training course! Soon after she started working at a nearby salon and was earning well. But as the only woman in the house, she had many responsibilities at home,  and so she started freelancing and working from her home, while also pursuing a graduation. 
Recently, when DCCW needed an instructor for beauty culture at one of our centres, her name was recommended and she was interviewed, and made an offer. Her family approved of the job  considering a secure and conducive work environment and so she happily accepted. Alongside, she is pursuing her Masters in Arts, while also doing very well as an instructor!
